  • We work mainly in Hobart and surrounding areas, but will travel further depending on the project.

  • Lead times vary depending on current workload and project size. We’ll always give you a realistic timeframe at the consultation stage so you know when we can start.

  • It depends on the project — sometimes yes, sometimes no. Decks, bathrooms, and smaller renovations may not need approval, while new homes and larger extensions almost always do. Either way, we’ll guide you through the process and connect you with the right people (designer, architect, or building surveyor) to make sure everything is covered.

  • In most cases, yes. The fee depends on the size and complexity of the project — it simply reflects the time and expertise required to provide an accurate, tailored quote.

  • A lot goes into preparing a quote that’s accurate and realistic — it’s not just a quick number on a page. We spend time reviewing your plans, consulting with our trades and suppliers, and considering the best way to build your project. The fee simply covers that time and ensures you get detailed, transparent pricing you can trust.
